Carrie Frances Partin Elliott

Middlesboro, KY

Carrie Frances Partin Elliott, age 94, of Middlesboro, KY, formerly of Chenoa, KY, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 9, 1929, to the late James Martin and Tilda Mae “Webb” Partin. 

Carrie was saved at an early age and was a faithful servant to her Lord. She was a member of New Vine Missionary Baptist Church. 

Mommy was known for her loving and caring nature, She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of all whom she met with warmth and kindness.

Carrie will be remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family and faith. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas Elliott; four brothers, Gusta Partin, Bill G. Partin, Lonnie A. Partin and Byrd Partin; two grandchildren, James Martin Hatfield, and Dora Marie Hatfield; and one great-grandson, Spencer Keagan Mason.

She is survived by her four children, Diane F. Mason, Hugh D. Elliott, Charlotte I. (Randy) Hatfield and Sharon A. (Darin) Allen; grandchildren, Clarissa Mason, Quentin (Kaye) Mason, Renee (Brent) Daniels, Randi (Jeromy) Collins, Ashley (Chris) Wright and Gary (Katie) Shackelford; thirteen great-grandchildren, Madison and Kolbi Mason, Hailey Daniels, Shaileigh, Nevaeh, and Darina Wright, Stephanie and Harley Hatfield, Madison, Willie and Nicholas Collins, Wyatt Middleton, and Lola Shackelford; four great-great-grandchildren, Lillee, Asher, and Isabel Hatfield, and Emily Richardson; sisters, Lillian Partin, Violet Craig, Sharon (Luke) Maiden and Lundy (George) Makohin; brother, Samuel (Judy) Partin; and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.  

The family of Carrie Elliott will receive friends on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  

Funeral services for Carrie Elliott will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at New Vine Missionary Baptist Church, Frakes, KY, with Rev. Wesley Miracle and Rev. Jerry Fuson presiding.  Music will be provided by the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church singers. Graveside services will immediately follow at the New Vine Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be Quentin Mason, Ashley Wright, Randi Collins, Harley Hatfield, Chris Wright, Jeromy Collins, Darin Allen, and Randy Hatfield.

Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Shackelford.
