Bruce Colan Wilson

Bruce Colan Wilson, age 89, went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.  He was born on September 16, 1934, in Middlesboro, KY, to the late John Thornton and Cora Lee Wilson. 

In addition to his parents, Colan was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Gibson Wilson; brothers, Curtis Wilson, Charles Wilson, and Vernon Wilson; sisters, Justine Wilson, Edith Turner, Mary Edwards, Omega Branscome, Helen Burkley, Inez Treadway, and Della Mae Medley. 

Left to mourn his passing are his two sons, Bruce (Paula) Wilson and Larry Wilson; grandchildren, Erica (Patrick) Moore, Whitney (Matt) Durham, and Jeremy Wilson; grandchildren, David Moore, John Moore, Bo Tucker Durham, Blake Darrell Durham, and Benjamin Durham; brother, Ray Wilson; caregiver and loving companion, Beulah Duffield Morgan as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

The family of Bruce Colan Wilson will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Mike Padgett and Bill Bothof presiding. 

At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to Green Hills Memorial Gardens where graveside services will be held.
