Betty Faye Burch

June 10, 1942 — March 8, 2024

Middlesboro

On Friday, March 8, 2024, Our Lord and Savior called Betty Faye Burch home. She was born on June 10, 1942, in Beattyville, KY, to the late Icel (Puckett) and Malcolm Adams. Betty was a long-time member of Binghamtown Baptist Church, Middlesboro, KY, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Betty loved to travel, and the beach was her favorite place.  She had many fun adventures with her friends and family along the way.  She spent many hours at the ballfield with her boys and traveled to many new places with Middlesboro sports teams.  She was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and never missed a chance to cheer on the team.  Betty was a very determined lady and persevered as her health issues continued.  She loved her fur babies and had much enjoyment watching them and their antics.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Burch; son, Barry Burch; and brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Bonnie Adams.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Rodney (Angela Bishop) Burch; brother-in-law, Bill (Mary) Burch; and nieces, Cynthia (Dick) Brown and Beth Burch.

Betty's family would like to thank the Middlesboro EMS, Middlesboro ARH emergency room doctors and staff, University of Tennessee Medical Center ER and ICU Trauma Center doctors and staff, whose gentle care was much appreciated by the family.
