Alonzo Miracle, age 88, a resident of Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, Tennessee.
He was born in Balkan, Kentucky on November 2, 1932, to the late Martin and Nelia Miracle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Loretta Hillman; 2 infant sons, Alonzo, Jr. and Marvin; first wife, Roxie Boatright Miracle; Brothers, Charles F. Miracle and Bill Miracle; Sisters, Pauline Warren and Lorine Robbins; and special mom, Laura Wilder Miracle.
He was the pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God in Michigan for many years before moving to Middlesboro. Once in Middlesboro, he pastored Middlesboro Pentecostal Church. He loved going to church, serving the Lord and sharing the gospel with everyone he met. He was a Licensed Funeral Director, assisting families in their time of need, at Cawood Funeral Home for over 26 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Korean War.
He is survived by the following members of his family:

The family of Alonzo Miracle will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. J.C. Craig and Rev. David Gibbons presiding.
A graveside service for Alonzo Miracle will follow the funeral service on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
