Alice Eads

Alice Jean (Cupp) Eads, age 81, of Middlesboro, KY, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at the Baptist Health Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 11, 1937, to the late Grant and Cora Cupp. Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church No. 2 of Middlessboro, KY and was an excellent cook.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ira Larry Eads; brothers, Chester Cupp, Luther Cupp, Doyle Cupp and McArthur Cupp; and sister, Irene (Cupp) Clonce.

She is survived by her children, Keats F. Eads, Virgina (Eads) Campbell and Archie M. Eads, all of Middlesboro, KY; siblings, James Cupp of Tazewell, TN, Wanda Lovill of Cincinnati, OH, Herbert Cupp of Palm Bay, FL, Kenneth Cupp and Phyllis Jones, both of New Tazewell, TN; as well as 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the interment immediately following at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY. Pallbearers will be Ben Campbell, Shawn Cupp, Chad Cupp, James Cupp, Curtis Johnson and Jacob Norton.
