Henry Hensley

Henry Clifton (Clif) Hensley, age 66, of Hendersonville, NC, formerly of Middlesboro, KY; passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Care Partners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville, NC. He was born May 6, 1957, the son of the late Henry Washington Hensley and Reva Elizabeth Howard Hensley.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Nathan L. Hensley and James C. Hensley; the mother of his oldest daughter, Debbie Richards Hensley; the mother of his youngest daughter, Tonni J. Hensley; grandson, Michael David Lair-Kissiar; niece, Beth Johnston; and nephews, Justin Hensley and Vernon Jeffery Branham.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy Marissa Kissiar Hensley (David) of Wickliffe, Kentucky, Cricket Stone Hensley and her mother, Lesa Hensley of Lakeland, Florida and Courtney Hines (fiancé Shane Floerchinger) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Grandchildren, Shane Ford Lair-Kissiar, Shevy (Katie) Stone, Diesel Stone, Tonni Boeding and Vara Floerchinger

Great-grandchildren, Little Michael David Lair, Everly Grace Lair, Matthew Stone, Oliver Stone and Octavia Stone

Brothers, Estill Wayne Hensley of Middlesboro, Kentucky and Ronnie Joe (Natalie) Hensley of Lafayette, Indiana

Sisters, Naomi Sue (Patrick) McCoppin of Hendersonville, North Carolina and Ruth J. (Patrick) Marsee of Middlesboro, Kentucky

Aunt Mary Opal Beers of Lafayette, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, whom he loved dearly. Clif will be greatly missed by them all.

The family of Henry Clifton (Clif) Hensley will receive friends on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel with his Brother-in-law, Rev. Craig Richards officiating.  Pallbearers will be Virgil Webb, Jr., Arlo Moyers, Jacob Hensley, Tyler Marsee, Mike Tholl and Patrick McCoppin.  Graveside service will immediately follow at the Yeary/Oakview Cemetery in Middlesboro, KY.
